Court Booking Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all court bookings made with Pikup Padel. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and you have received a confirmation notification via Playtomic. Pikup Padel reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed or unpaid bookings.

2. Payment

All court bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking through Playtomic. We do not offer pay-on-arrival or invoice billing for standard court bookings. Prices displayed on the booking platform are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled booking start time will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking start time are non-refundable.

  • No-shows (failure to arrive without prior cancellation) are non-refundable.

  • To cancel a booking, please do so through your Playtomic account.

  • In exceptional circumstances, refund requests outside the above policy may be considered at our discretion. Please contact us at info@pikuppadel.co.uk.

4. Late Arrivals

Court time begins at the scheduled booking start time regardless of when you arrive. Late arrivals will not be entitled to additional court time or refunds for missed time. If you have not arrived within 15 minutes of your booking start time and have not contacted us, we reserve the right to release the court.

5. Weather Policy

Our courts are indoor facilities. We do not offer refunds or rescheduling due to weather conditions unless play is deemed unsafe at our sole discretion. Where we cancel play due to unsafe conditions, affected bookings will be refunded in full or offered a reschedule.

6. Club Right to Close

Pikup Padel reserves the right to close courts or cancel bookings due to maintenance, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond our control (including but not limited to extreme weather, power outages, or structural issues). Where we cancel a booking, you will receive a full refund.

7. Behaviour & Code of Conduct

All players are expected to behave respectfully towards other players, staff, and the facility. We reserve the right to refuse entry or end sessions without refund for behaviour we deem to be:

  • Abusive, threatening, or discriminatory

  • Damaging to our courts, equipment, or facilities

  • In breach of any health and safety requirements on site

8. Age Restrictions

Players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Junior sessions or coaching programmes may have specific age requirements, which will be stated at the time of booking.

9. Liability

Pikup Padel accepts no liability for:

  • Personal injury sustained during play, except where caused by our negligence

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal property on our premises

  • Any indirect or consequential loss arising from a cancelled or modified booking

Players participate at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring they are fit to play. We strongly recommend appropriate footwear and warm-up before play.

 

10. Coaching & Third-Party Lessons

Unauthorised coaching or commercial instruction on our courts is not permitted without prior written agreement from Pikup Padel. If you wish to use a private coach, please contact us in advance.

 

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking will apply.
